→ ECLIPSED: Luxury chocolate line Moon Kids, from former Tartine Bakery pastry chef Michael Tabatabai, just launched its San Francisco-only bonbon delivery service. Drops of a scant 30 boxes go live every Tuesday at 12p, with a new lineup of flavors like apple, black sesame, and coconut announced on Instagram every week. Each is handmade with Guittard chocolate, then decorated to resemble a planet, stars, or space. Tabatabai hand-delivers each 12-bonbon box ($48 per) himself on Saturdays, in boxes promised to keep things cool for at least 12 hours. Order.
→ BIG TIME: Square’s takeover of the former Lucca Ravioli space has already manifested its first “experience”: Bigface, a two-week coffee pop-up from Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III. Butler started making and selling $20 cups of coffee to fellow players during the 2020 NBA bubble, all from his Orlando hotel room. His Mission shop is a high-end affair, with $40 bags of Colombian or Rwandan single-origin beans and a three-cup, $100 coffee flight; espresso drinks and pour-overs from those beans is closer to market rate. Be prepared to wait in a long line at the buzzy shop, and head out soon: the pop-up’s last day is Sunday. 9a-6p daily, 1100 Valencia St (Mission), walk-ins only. –Eve Batey
