The Skinny: I don’t mean to speak ill of the dead, but the last time I went to the Tipsy Pig — a long time ago, circa 2012 — there was a raging bachelor party, and one guy literally grabbed my ass. Absolutely not the staff’s fault, and sure, the gastropub grub was great, but the scene was everything everyone always grumbles about the Marina. Can a bro hangout turn a new leaf? Lobalita, a new Mexican cantina from the same team, Nate Valentine and Jamal Blake-Williams (also of Bar Darling, Peacekeeper, April Jean, and Harper & Rye), says they’re going to try.
